En este nuevo estudio, se descubri\u00f3 que una prote\u00edna de rat\u00f3n poco conocida interrumpe las alteraciones qu\u00edmicas causantes del c\u00e1ncer en genes asociados con c\u00e9lulas de c\u00e1ncer colorrectal humano. La versi\u00f3n de rat\u00f3n de esta prote\u00edna, denominada STELLA, alter\u00f3 un factor epigen\u00e9tico clave e inhibi\u00f3 el crecimiento tumoral con mayor eficacia que su versi\u00f3n humana.
